After talking to someone a bit and leaving a conversation window open, I'll sometimes have a bunch of system messages (occasionally lasting an hour or more) at the bottom.

Above this, Time Bubbles displays the amount of time between the last message...and the first system message (usually when the person went Idle for the first time); this isn't really the information I'm looking for. I actually want to know the amount of time since something was last said in the conversation.

I don't have any idea of how this could be displayed in the conversation.

So what's currently displayed is useful: it's the amount of time the person "waited" for an answer before becoming away/offline.

I think the information that's missing is that when there are collapsed system messages, it's always the same height (the height of 3 system messages). We should probably display the time elapsed between the first and last system messages of the collapsed group.

It would seem to me that the line next to the ... has a bit of empty space we could use to show the amount of time that has passed.
