This bug used to be present in Firefox, but appears to have been resolved in the latest major release (21).  I believe it is related to this bug:

This was fixed in Mozilla 21: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=865240

I think it'd be fixed automatically once bug 955394 (bio 1956) is fixed (unless we wanted to backport it...).

Actually the bug you linked was fixed by https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=865240 only for moz23.
