When you receive a message that has a iCal (.ics) attachment, the body of message is not visible.

Expected Behavior: The body of the message should be visible.

I've attached two screen shots that show the same message with lightning enabled/disabled.

Bug 388584 was invalid, but you might have a valid case.

The current behavior using Thunderbird 52.3.0 with Lightning v 5.4.3 is:

1) If an Email containing a iCalendar is received, the body of the message is displayed along with the option to accept or deny the event. See ScreenWithAttachment.png

2) If you click on Accept, the body of the message is no longer visible. See ScreenWithAcceptedCalendarEvent.png

I have attached a an email that demonstrates the case.
Attached image ScreenWithAttachment.png —
Shows how Thunderbird displays a message with an iCalendar attachment.
Shows how thunderbird presents the message after the Accept button is used.

A linux message file with an iCalendar text attachment.
Thanks for getting back after all these years.

Yes, that is bug 1360155 which I'm working on. So I'm making this bug a duplicate of the other.

So you can't present a case as described in comment #0 where the body isn't displayed regardless of whether the event was accepted or not, right?
