Mozilla links "bug xxx" in hgweb automatically to Bugzilla, this is really useful when looking at check-in logs on hg.instantbird.org/instantbird. flo figures they're just using a hacked template.

It seems that the mozilla code to do this is at http://hg.mozilla.org/users/bsmedberg_mozilla.com/hgpoller/file/tip/buglink.py and just needs to be enabled as a Mercurial extension.

There are necessary changes to the gitweb template (I'm just using gitweb here, but you should get the idea anyways) to get this working on my local repository.

This is no patch I expect to apply anywhere by the way ;)

We could link bugs with 6 digits (or more;) to BMO and everything with 5 or less digits to BIO? I think the number of cases where this goes wrong is very limited and it seems future-proof too: I'm hoping very much that we'll never need more than five digits for our bug numbers!

If someone sends me the template files I'd be willing to spend time on this.

We're now using hg.mozilla.org (and this works :)).
