Was this regarding accessing the Firefox OS Simulator add-on (the old method of using a simulator), or the App Manager (the new way of using a simulator)?

Its regarding accessing the Firefox OS Simulator add-on only and it should not be duplicate of bug 918229. Shortcut for this add-on is required, and this will be useful specially for many people who cant open this add-on from australis UI because of Bug 940826.

I'll reopen this one.

I dont think this feature is anymore required. No one seems to be using this [1] addon anymore, because everyone is on App Manager now. And according to this[2] bug, now even the App Manager will die in favour of WebIDE. Feel free to reopen this if needed.
