Added URL (had to create a publicly accessible page).
Can you attach the Crystal Reports Viewer to this bug or point us to a URL for it?

Yup
David, I got that JAR installed and watched it load fine under Nav 4.7.8 and Moz 0.9.3. I
wasn't sure how to load a report, though, so I just closed the windows in both browsers
and didn't see any errors. How do I load a report?
(Also, just to be sure, did you install the "MRJPlugin (4.X)" into your Nav 4 plug-ins folder,
or the "MRJPlugin" intended for NS 6/Moz?)

There's no problem with loading, the error is displayed when you close the
window. It happens about 1/4 of the time, and it doesn't matter whether there's
a report loaded or not. I suspect that it doesn't matter which applet is loaded
either.
Yes, I'm sure I'm using the correct Plug-in.
To reporoduce, create twenty or so netscape windows with the URL I've provided.
Close them one at a time. On some of them, you'll get a system modal dialog
that reports a java.lang.NullPointerException.

Okay, just tried that in Moz 0.9.3 and Moz crashed on the first window close request.
(TalkBack ID TB34329054E.) Will try on Nav 4.7.8 next after I restart.

Just finished testing using Nav 4.7.8 and reproduced the problem David reports herein. I
opened 20 windows with his URL and closed them one-by-one. Six of these close
operations resulted in the Exception dialog he reports. Confirming.

Just tried retesting under Moz 0.9.3, this time with only five windows open to the URL.
Moz again crashed the first time I tried to close a window (TB34329890X). Reporter, did
you have any luck testing under Moz 0.9.3?

Just downloaded Moz 0.9.3 and reproduced the bug. It took 8 tries this time,
and instead of a system modal dialog, I got a frozen Mac and what looked like
the system debugger or an empty system 7-style system modal dialog box.

Mass-closing bugs in the "OJI" component: OJI plugin integration was replaced with npruntime long ago, and these bugs appear to be irrelevant now. If there is in fact a real bug that remains, please file it new in the "Core" product, component "Plug-ins".
