Got this quote from an internal Web page at work:
"Adobe has announced that certain features of the Acrobat PDF
viewer do not work in Netscape 6. Most importantly PDF
byte-serving (also called Fast Web View) does not work in
Netscape 6. PDF byte-serving allows the viewing of pages in a
PDF document without having to download the entire document
first. Therefore, when viewing large documents, byte-serving
speeds up document delivery to your browser. Because the PDF
byte-serving feature does not work in Netscape 6, IHS
recommends that you do NOT upgrade your Netscape browser to
Version 6."

Netscape 6.1 DOES support byte-ranges with PDF documents. This site needs
Evangelism.

We are working close with Adobe to resolve any remaining issues.

Who can I talk to at ihs to rectify this misconception? We may not support PDF
forms yet, but byte ranges are certainly supported.  I'd like to talk to someone
to get a sense of the business requirements, etc.  This currently appears like
evangelism to me.
