This is because the columns are not turned off, and showed by default, apparently. This is a duplicate of a similar bug logged yesterday.

this happens with old profiles. Resize pane with the splitter and it all snaps into place again. Marking dup of bug 95468 which has the same kind of screenshot attached. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 95468 ***
