Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:28.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/28.0 Iceweasel/28.0a2 (Beta/Release) Build ID: 20131215004001 Steps to reproduce: Browsed about:permissions Actual results: The BACK arrow disappears, along with any way to go BACK via right click. It's like some sci-fi evil hack.
As far as I know, this behavior is intended, as described here: http://www.addictivetips.com/internet-tips/firefox-gets-privacy-settings-aboutpermission-for-websites/ but it might be a good enhancement to take into consideration in the future.
Severity: normal → enhancement
Component: Untriaged → Preferences
If it were intended, then http://cloud.addictivetips.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/about-permissions-firefox_thumb.jpg would warn that hitting RET will cause the user to have no way to go BACK in this tab. At least when gobbling off the standard controls, it could add back a back button, like about:addons and about:config have!
