Description

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:28.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/28.0 Iceweasel/28.0a2 (Beta/Release)
Build ID: 20131215004001

Steps to reproduce:

Pick a pdf from http://www.gsdi.org/newsletters#AP via clicking, and hope there is a way of seeing it directly.

Actual results:

Despite what ever the user's settings, he will no be able to view it in PDFJS in one or maybe even two steps. /etc/mime* will interfere.

It's the content disposition that makes us show the dialog. I agree with the dialog being shown, but like others have said there really should be an option to preview in Firefox. For the time being there's an add-on that turns them all into inline https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/inlinedisposition/?src=search
