After bug 910999 landed, we would like some gaia ui tests to check that:
 - upon reception of a voicemail sms correctly formed, we display the voicemail notification
 - upon reception of a clear voicemail sms correctly formed, we remove the voicemail notification

I have no idea exactly, but I learned that we can send sms payload in emulator when doing a telnet. But I have no idea how this can cope with the testing framework/conditions.

I believe that's true. Technically we could do this on emulator I'm sure but we don't really have the capacity. However I'll keep this task open as it's not blocked; someone might be able to pick it up.

We'll help anyone that is working on this with how to use the framework, run tests, etc, just ping us in #mozwebqa.

We don't have the capacity to do this on the Python suite/on-device, nor the infrastructure to command voicemail SMS onto the device.

They are a good candidate to stand-up on the desktopb2g using the fake ril and then at a later stage attempt to run them on device.

I'll move this component to SMS so they can be written in marionettejs.

Hey Johan, this is one of those bugs where we'd need support from the marionette framework to make interacting with the emulator better.

Do we have a meta bug for this ?

Sorry, I didn't have a chance to look up this bug. Based on the Firefox OS timeline, I'm not sure we need such a test anymore. I'm closing this bug as WONTFIX. Please reopen if you'd like to take a stab at it.
