This is a parity bug, see bug 78933, bug 83103, and bug 83100.
the windows version of mozilla will now support Outlook addressbooks via MAPI.

Support for mac addressbooks should be implementable via AppleScript.  The 
dictionaries of Outlook Express, Entourage and Outlook are apparently quite 
good.

yes, i can't add keywords until after i file :-( it's a bugzilla bug.  
Hopefully it'll be fixed by 2.16 (2.14 is about to roll out, 
bugzilla.mozilla.org is now betaing 2.14). Similarly i can't mark 
depends/blocks.  I've picked a depends but i don't really understand the 
AddressBook dependency tree, so feel free to make whatever modifications you 
feel are correct (privs granted).

This bug is targeted at a Mac classic platform/OS, which is no longer supported
by mozilla.org. Please re-target it to another platform/OS if this bug applies
there as well or resolve this bug.

I will resolve this bug as WONTFIX in four weeks if no action has been taken.

Since there is a platform wide address book in OS X, should this bug be changed
to "Support Apple Address Book"? I don't see a point in supporting
Outlook/Entourage abooks, since they will switch to the platform address book
sooner or later.

since i filed this bug as a bug about Microsoft's mail app, which is not apple's
address book, no i don't want it randomly morphing to mean apple's address book.
And no, i shouldn't have to go buy Entourage 2006 just so that mozilla can use
my Entourage address book that I built in 2001.

I'm sure you can see that the current arrangement causes some confusion...
