Steps to reproduce:

1. Tools → Options → Tabs tab → uncheck "Warn me when closing multiple tabs."
2. Open a few tabs, then right-click a tab and select "Close other tabs".


Actual results:

Firefox warns, "You are about to close x tabs. Are you sure you want to continue?"


Expected results:

If "Warn me when closing multiple tabs" is unchecked, Firefox should not warn me when closing multiple tabs.
Summary: When "Warn me when closing multiple tabs" is unchecked, Firefox still asks for confirmation. → When "Warn me when closing multiple tabs" is unchecked, Firefox still warns when closing multiple tabs.
According to bug 772319, it can be done with an about:config pref.

This bug is about the "Warn me when closing multiple tabs" not doing what it states, not necessarily the lack of an option, although I'm glad the preference at least exists.
I guess bug 801072 is about making it clear, too.
