Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_9_1) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/31.0.1650.63 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce: Click Tools -> Account Settings... -> Blogs & News Feeds -> Manage Subscriptions... , then close the Feed Subscriptions window (using the Mac standard close widget, red circle in top-left corner), then click Cancel in the settings dialogue. Actual results: In the main window, nothing responds to mouse clicks or scroll-wheel movement. I cannot change to a different message or folder or use any of the button-bar icons. The entire UI is frozen up, except that the Menus (managed by Mac OS X) still work. I can still use Cmd-W to close a window or tab, and Cmd-Q to Quit. Expected results: UI should have remained responsive.
this works for me in win/linux on latest trunk (Tb33). can you still reproduce on mac in Tb33?

This is still a problem with Earlybird 32.0a2 (2014-06-12)
josiah, is there something special that needs to be done for mac non-modal windows to make them go away completely? or any ideas?

Curious. I'm not aware of anything specifically, but I can reproduce this. I won't have any ideas until I look at this a little more closely (Probably Wednesday).
