Hello! In relation with our upcoming event, Mozilla Weekend ( https://reps.mozilla.org/e/mozilla-weekend-tirana/ ) Our community, is in need for a good amount of business cards consisting of general ones for Mozilla Albania and a smaller amount for Redon Skikuli and me ( both Mozilla Reps in Albania) As our community is still young and growing ( we just started in 2013 with Redon becoming the first Rep), this would immensely help us. Including us, there are 6 Mozillians from Albania till now and we plan to grow this number and the number of contributors for 2014. The pack of business cards would be enough to cover our activities in 2014. We have looked for cheaper local printing alternatives but the print quality is really bad, so we went for www.moo.com The shipping of the business cards is set for UK and they could also be sent to the Mozilla London office where they could be picked up by Tom Farrow, who is an organizer at Mozilla Weekend Albania. The total cost is almost 290$ as you can see in the attachment. Please let me know if you need any more details.

Hey guys, this was long debated as we do not include business cards on the reimbursement things but we do exceptions if the amount is not a big one. Unfortunately the amount requested here is way to much for such things. While I agree moo.com had a good quality probably will be best to find something local (in RO for such no of cards it will be less than 50$). Also try to find a lower price on moo.com - I saw you choose laminate which is not needed imho. Let me know what you find! Ioana

Hello Ioana! Thanks for the feedback. We have local printshops here in AL but the quality is really unacceptable honestly ( yes you could get that amount for like 60$ here too) I was pointed to moo.com from another mozillian, suggesting that a lot of Mozillians use moo.com I thought I chose the cheapest versions, didnt notice anything cheaper than laminate. What do you think about Vista Print? That is the other alternative I was thinking of. Though Ive heard the quality is not too great. If we could choose another print service for cheaper, that would work for us too, no problem of course! Hope we can find an alternative!
So can I open a new bug with a more realistic price? We are in fact considering Vista Print right now, which would be ideal, at least from the financial side :)
So, basically 2 card holders and 1500 business cards would cost with shipping, around 200$ on VistaPrint. The same, only for 650 business cards would be 20-30$ cheaper. What do you think? I personally am considering right now local printing alternatives. Ioana is right, they might work out better in this case ( considering we are in a hurry). What would be a reasonable budget would you think?

Hello again Sorry for being late but here is the offer we got: 300 business cards ( double sided) for 50$ Also due to Tads absence we need to printout posters ourself. They would cost 1$ for every A3 Poster and 0,25$ for A5 flyers. We are printing out 20 A3 posters and 200 A5 flyers That would be 50$ + 20$ + 50$ = 120$ (estimated) We are paying them in advance so its not pressing for tomorrow. Does that sound okay? Would Western Union work for that? Thank you in advance!

Hello Kostantina! We would prefer Western Union please. Maybe you could merge the reimbursement with bug #962074 ? So just you dont need to make 2 reimbursents, would be easier right?

Okay I finally printed out the business cards :) 100 Rep bcards for me 100 Rep bcards for Redon 400 Mozilla Albania community bcards 150 Hackerspace bcards ( where we do our Mozilla activities) and a few other printouts for various flyers for Mozilla Albania You want me to put all these expenses in a spreadsheet Konstantina afterwards? Hey Elio, 157.8 to be exact :) I don't think I need a spreadsheet for this one, but this has been approved for 120 usd, is there a reason you went overbudget?
As we had some budget from Mozilla Weekend left, I used more budget on this, but probably there is still some budget left from there anyway ( thats why I mentioned a spreadsheet) :) Checking again our recipes to make sure I didn't forget anything

Of course, if it's needed. We had some budget left from the Mozilla Weekend event budget and thought it shouldnt be a problem to add 37 USD to this one , seeing there was some left which would be deducted anyway in a future budget request. Anyway, hope it's not too much of a problem. I will check out the total costs now again (including the MozWeekend budget)
I think I do not understand.. - you had approved ~ 120 - you spent 160 - you had some money left front other events - used? not used? covers the 40? - even with the extra money - is there something missing?

https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=957855 We had a budget of 618 USD approved for Mozilla Weekend With all the recipes counted, the costs were: around 550 USD So we basically had 68 USD left From those 68 USD, we used 40 USD for additional bcards. Now we have a budget left of 28 USD Im sorry if that was a problem, we should have asked first. However, please let us know what's needed if anything is not clear. By sunday I should have finished a detailled Spreadsheet documenting the costs of Mozilla Weekend budget and Bcards budget. Sorry for the hassle

Hey Konstantina Its a kind of extra fee to the snacks and drinks from the venue as we bought them outside the venue in regular markets (which are way cheaper of course)

I understand. Sorry for that, with all the mess at MozWeekend we lost track of a few things, hopefully its cleared up now :) So Basically Konstantina, we owe you 28 USD right? Can that be deducted from our next Budget Request? Thank you!
