Hi,
While being in Romania last week i had 90% of my phone calls automatically put on hold. I wasn't in a conference and the call was interrupted after approx 20-30 seconds. I couldn't hear the other person anymore and he was hearing the network message for being put on hold.
I am using a commercial LG device bought in Brazil
OS version 1.1.0.1
Firmware revision LGD300fAT-00-V10d-724-06-SEP-30-2013
Hardware revision REV_1.0
Platform version 18.1
I was using an Orange Romania prepay SIM card and was unable to reproduce the issue in France so far (by using my french SIM card).
I've seen the same issue has been discussed and closed with status fixed a couple of months ago for Leo via bug 894232.
We've also had feedback from a couple of users (9:1PL,2EN,6ES) mid December, complaining about phone calls being cut off after 30 seconds. I'm asking for more details from them to figure if it's the same issue and will add info to the bug.
Could you please have a look into this?
Thanks,
Hermina

We probably can't investigate on QA's side - it sounds like it's country-specific to Romania & our Softvision folks do not have LG devices. However, we can outreach to our partner to investigate this.
Wayne - Can you followup with Leo about this?

If you can easily reproduce this, can you please provide a video of it happening?
I suspect, also reading form the other bug 894232, that this is due to the p-sensor not being activated due to the device hardware layout, and use accidentally touching the screen.

Can we somehow make sure that the patch from bug 894232 is included in the build referenced?
It's very strange that this kind of bug would only reproduce in one location.

Wayne: So this is reproducible from France too. Looks like the patch from bug 894232 is not included in that build. Is there a way to confirm that?

Bug 894232 has a leoVB- in the whiteboard indicates it wasn't included in their commercial software. I'll get in touch with them to find out why.

Leo confirmed bug 894232 was not included as the hold call feature was committed and required.
