Details
using 8/15 build of netscape 1) launch netscape 2) launch composer 3) edit | Prefs | Composer | New PAge settings 4) pick either custom color or default color setting notice no matter what color you have set for "Visited Link" it doesn't work when you browse that document with links. Try it: a) new blank page b) insert link (link it to a web page) c) Browse(give page title and file name) test out the Visited link feature by clicking on the link, which will take you to the web page, then go back and look at the color of the link. it should change to the visited link color, it does not. actually its the same color as Link text

why is this an editor bug? are you viewing this in the editor? does the body tag have the correct vlink information? if so, then why is this an editor bug -- should this not be a browser bug? If so, then assign it to the correct group

hi sujay, could you attach the sample html you wrote up? i ran into something similar, but it ended up being bug 12493 [non-canonical URIs not displaying visited link color properly]. just curious!
