2. Press escape (split console opens now)
3. Press escape again (split console hides)
4. Press o

Marvelous autocompletion! Pressing return would try to evaluate 'o'.

After Bug 1050439, this is not an issue as long as something is focused at some point when the split console is opened.  It is still an issue though if the console is opened, something is typed, then the console is closed
