958073 - Animations are broken on Unagi

Since a week, Unagis builds out of inbound are broken, and make the phone unable to use from any user (by hand).  Note that marionette is still able to use the phone as if we had no issue.  Which makes me think that there is a rendering cycle with old frames.

The bug appears both with and without APZ.

When APZ is enabled I can see the following error message in the logcat:
 { E/msm7627a.hwcomposer(  112): copybit stretch failed }

We can't. Unagi isn't a supported device anymore on 1.2+, so we don't have builds to do a regression window against.

Fair enough.  Nicolas, do you know a bit narrower how long the "week" that you mention above is?

I will make Unagi's images to bisect.  This happenend between December 20th and January 2sd.  I will make Unagi's images to bisect this issue.

Disabling the hardware composer solve this issue. I have collected a bunch of images of Unagis, I am going to test if if I can reproduce it.

I imagine this is a duplicate of bug 958460, and disabling the hardware composer is the right solution...
