User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:21.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/21.0 (Beta/Release) Build ID: 20130511120803 Steps to reproduce: I'm a Eudora (Windows) user since 1997 and now I'm trying to migrate to Thunderbird (version 24, lastest available today). I tried to use TB and import my email but I found an errors/bugs that I would like to share with you to identify a possible solution. Actual results: At the "first launch" of Thunderbird, he tries to import my emails from actual email client (Eudora). I see the screenshot (see below) and after 2 hrs nothing changes. https://d2r1vs3d9006ap.cloudfront.net/s3_images/936049/128d5361-a16f-4901-9a84-0a48ed9a9983_inline.jpg Probably (is my opinion) this bug is linked to "IMAP account" configured in Eudora

Please collect an import log using https://wiki.mozilla.org/MailNews:Logging and NSPR_LOG_MODULES=import:5 make the log settings, start thunderbird, import attempt, kill thunderbird, copy off the log file *before* restarting thunderbird.

What does the screen shot indicate? That we are stuck on filters?

It seems that something before the filters cannot allow the completion of import procedure... but... if you read the log there is nothing relates to the filters. After Junk and Trash, what does the import procedure of Thunderbird?
