When using a web chat (http://www.metropolis.de), I watched some odd behaviour:
in the frame with the chat output, the browser very often has the problem to
finish the display of the newest line(s) sent from the server, though the data
is completly received, according to ethereal.

The Page with the chat text doesn't end with a 200 HTTP OK to be able to receive
further output, and when this output (in most cases two lines), should be
displayed, it takes much to long for finishing the first line, if this line
contains a hyperlink (all up to the link is displayed, but not the link and what
follows), or to display the second line. The time difference is really far to
much, i'm talking of delays up to 30 seconds or so.

The bug exists in 0.9.3, and also in the latest nightly build (2000-08-17), and
didn't exist in the build I used before, which I downloaded just a few days
before 0.9 was released.

If further information is needed, please come back to me, I'll try to anwser them.

I don't know German.  It appears that this site requires an account to use the
chat, is this correct?

I dont see any problem with using the chat on the given site.. I have registered 
on the site and logged in to use the chat.. Marking worksforme.. Michael if you 
still think that its not working can you reopen and give more details on how to 
reproduce the problem
