95971 - Inbox sub-folders imported from Outlook PST files are lost when moving

When importing an Outlook PST that contains subfolders under the Inbox, Mozilla
 behaves erratically.  Attempting to move the subfolder out from under the Inbox
causes it to disappear, and I have found no way of recovering it short of
reimporting the Outlook PST.

Since Mozilla Mail doesn't allow creation of subfolders under the Inbox and
doesn't expect them to appear there, it should move the subfolders to the
account root when importing a PST file.

The Mail Data is actually not really lost. You can still import it in Evolution
1.0(Linux). Mozilla Mail doesn't seem to show it.

At least since 1.2 I can create folder under Inbox. Reporter
(David L. Reuthinger Jr.), does this bug still exist for you?

I have a PST I need to import this week so I'll give it a shot with 1.0.1, and
then 1.2 and a nightly and see what happens.

Better late than never, as they say...

I finally was able to set up a Windows box again, and I loaded up Outlook 2000
and Moz 1.4 on Win2k (no service packs and SP4) and was able to import the PST
file just fine.  I did have to set Outlook to Internet Mail Only in order to do
it, though, or Moz complains that it can't find any mail to import.

Good riddance, Outlook. :)

I will give this a shot on Windows 98 when I have a 98 box to try it on...
hopefully it won't take a year or so this time!
