When a curator reviews a group they curate, they see members who have requested to join the group. Such members are distinguished by a link in the lower right corner of the user chiclet that says, "Requested".

When the mouse rolls over this link, the background color of the link changes. Clicking on the link confirms the request.

This interaction is not clear enough:

1) It's not obvious that "Requested" is a link; the mouse pointer doesn't change to the standard link pointer.
2) It's not obvious that clicking on Requested will add the user to the group (and email them immediately telling them they've been added). 

Suggested fix:

1) Make sure that all links on the site get a standard mouse pointer on hover
2) Change the word "Requested" to "Confirm Request"

I'm wondering now if we should just make the Confirm request button look like the Remove button? Right now it's grayed out until you hover over it, so it still doesn't look very buttony until you do that. We could just make it a blue oval button all the time, maybe slightly overlapping the bottom-right corner just like the Remove button does to the top-right.

That's a good observation. At the minimum, it could always be blue for curators that have the ability to click.

Dan I updated the PR to include that suggestion. The button is always blue. The non-button label is always grey.

[Fix Bug 961206] improved Requested button to read “Confirm Request” for curators but still reads as “Requested” for normal users. Normal users no longer see a hover state since it is not a button.

The button now displays "Confirm Request" and the mouse pointer changes appropriately.
