Steps to reproduce:

I just installed the latest 1.2 (http://downloads.geeksphone.com/peak/v1.2/images-peak-v1.2-2014-01-17.Gecko-7d48488.Gaia-539a25e.zip) on my Peak. It isn't able to find my phone service provider and I can't call, text or connect to the Internet (wi-fi is working fine though).
I can reproduce on 1.3 (http://downloads.geeksphone.com/peak/v1.3/images-peak-v1.3-2014-01-19.Gecko-dbb70ae.Gaia-50d6487.zip). In Settings, it says "SIM card not ready" forever.
And I can confirm everything works just fine in 1.1.
It seems that turning airplane mode on and off on 1.3 makes it work.
The same trick does not work on 1.2.
Firefox OS is not being worked on
