Currently accounts created on Android are not accepted in sign-in on desktop, and accounts created on desktop are not accepted on sign-in in Android.

Steps to Reproduce

-- Desktop --

i) Nightly (01/20) on desktop (set identity.fxaccounts.enabled; true)
ii) Create a new account; and verify the account in your email

-- Mobile --

i) Nightly (01/20) on Android (set identity.fxaccounts.enabled; true)
ii) Visit about:accounts and attempt to sign-in

Expected: Sign-In
Actual: HTTPFailureException 400 - "Unknown account"

In the Remote Error alert, the server listed is at the repo: https://github.com/mozilla/fxa-auth-server.

Perhaps desktop and android are pointing at the correct servers still? Please let us know.

Edwin mentioned in an email that desktop and android at the time of filing were not pointing to the same auth servers at the time. If someone can clarify that (and let me know when they will be pointing at the same server) then this can be closed.
