STR: load the URL I started from https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/search/?product=Firefox&dump=nsRuleNode::Compute&_facets=signature&signature=mozalloc_abort then clicked "new line" and entered "date > 2013-01-01" and then Search.
BTW, I would expect this crash incident to match the above query: https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/1a7e6dd5-e9ea-49b4-9e8a-614782131122

Actually just opened a pull request for this in bug 919588. :)

Btw, the current crash retention policy is 6 months, so searching from 2013-01-01 won't give you results for the first half of 2013 simply we don't have the data in elasticsearch.
OK, thanks. I think there's still a bug here though. Loading the URL in comment 0 and then adding a new line with "date > 2013-11-01" gives the result "No results were found." Why doesn't it find the incident in comment 1 (dated 2013-11-22) ?

This is due to bug 943640, searching the dump field doesn't work at the moment. There is a pull request open for it, it should be resolved in release 72 or 73 (this week or next week). Sorry about the inconvenience!

No problem, I just forgot I filed that already :-)
Thanks :adrian - QA verified duplicate
