I use Firefox for Android beta version 27. I'm getting a lot of crashes while trying to load links from the reddit non-mobile homepage while browsing on my Galaxy S4. The crashes aren't triggering breakpad crash reporting and about:crashes is completely empty.

STR:
1) browse to reddit.com
2) click on links, specifically to imgur.com hosted things

The crashes don't happen reliably, but I've noticed that since the last beta version, my browser crashes about 25% of the times that I click on a link. The crash seems to happen during the transition of reddit.com markup to imgur.com markup, before the imgur markup shows up. If I am remembering correctly, the link is marked as :visited when I go back to reddit.com after the crash. The session does not restore and restarts my firefox to a new session.

The same link won't always crash firefox, but the crashses are always directly after clicking on a link.
Oh, this is happening on my personal phone, which is a Galaxy S4 running Cyanogenmod 10.2 stable, which is Android 4.3.1. I don't know how to debug the android port, but I do have a b2g development environment here so I might be able to do something useful.
Can you try connecting the phone via USB and running | adb logcat | to see what get's logged during a crash?

sure thing!

So, I did a full reset and downgrade to CM10.1.3 stable (4.2) and the first link I clicked on with a brand new profile firefox for android beta in reddit caused the issue to reproduce.

I didn't find anything in the logcat output, so I've rebooted then phone and will try to reproduce with logcat running.
I have logcat information, is there anything I need to be scrubbing before posting it here -- this is from my real personal profile?

We try to avoid writing any URLs to logcat. It should be fine for posting.

I sent it to you in an email.
Attached file jimdb debug crash output (obsolete) —
I put a Beta debug build on jhford's phone (new profile) and got the output while he reproed: the log is attached.

Note that color codes are in the file - you may want to read it in less.
Added `backtrace` and `info shared`.

Realized I had jimdb incorrectly configured in my first test, so I'm obsoleting that attachment.

CC'ing ARM people.

Can anybody else reproduce this? STR would be great.
fwiw: could not reproduce on a Nexus 7 2012, Android 4.4, Firefox beta.
I can't repro this on a Galaxy S4 using 27.0b10 and Android 4.3. This is a notably different from jhford's 4.3.1 repro (comment 1) and jhford's 4.2 repro (comment 4).

Again, note that jhford is using Cyanogenmod.
Does this still reproduce?
