This has happened twice for me so far on the 2014-01-20 nightly on Mac. I updated from the 2014-01-17 nightly but the bug could have been introduced before it (I may have just not hit it) Sometimes when I close a tab, the entire chrome area below the tab bar becomes corrupted as if we're reading from memory that is not graphics data. bjacob said that bug 958550 is one of the recent changes that has landed which might have caused this. Unfortunately I'm not sure how to reproduce it.
