We're seeing a lot of Service Unavailable and performance problems (13-17 seconds to load pages) on http://reps-dev.allizom.org/ Note: we don't seem to see these on staging (https://reps.allizom.org/), just dev Perf: http://www.webpagetest.org/result/140121_T3_11ZE/
I believe that reps dev and stage are still using the old 'atom' infra, which is in general slow. We 'd love to get our servers up-to-date with new infra which will also enable us to have things like newrelic support. Maybe :cturra knows more about the subject?

I have dug around quite a bit on the dev server and see no reason that the server is to blame for this. I cleaned some stuff up and restarted some services as well, all to no avail. I must ask again if there is any difference between the deployed version here and the stage or prod site? As for upgrading the servers, it is on the list for this quarter. I think there may be another faster alternative which I will address soonish, but either way there will be some changes this quarter.

reps-dev differs from stage and prod only by 2 small changes in html, so that shouldn't be a problem. http://mzl.la/reps-deployed
Yea I don't see anything there that would cause this. I can try to look more into this later in the week. FYI we are planing on moving this site to non-atom resources in short order. I do not have the time-line yet but it should be soon.

I haven't experienced any performance issues the last months. Also dev and stage are on the generic cluster now, so I guess we can close this bug?
