User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:23.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/23.0 (Beta/Release)
Build ID: 20130814063812
Steps to reproduce:
I upgraded to Thunderbird 24.2.0, Lightning 2.6.4 and Provider for Google Calendar 0.25 from earlier versions (not certain which). Now I get frequent hangups with "Thunderbird Not Responding" while doing any task with Thunderbird. Disabling Lightning and Provider restore responsiveness of Thunderbird but lose the calendar functionality.
OS is Windows 7 SP1 4GB RAM 32 bit

Component: Untriaged → Provider: GData
Keywords: perf
Product: Thunderbird → Calendar
Version: 24 → Lightning 2.6.4
This seems to now be resolved. I believe the problem was simply that the event listing got switched to "All Events" from "Events in the Next 14 Days". With 9 subscribed calendars, listing "All Events" would tie up the program for extended periods.
