+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #961016 +++

Similarly to the tab title mentioned in Bug #961016, the same regression broke thumbnails in panorama. All thumbnails of unloaded tabs in panorama are completely black, they only get refreshed when you navigate to the site.
I think this is duplication of bug 961479
