Details

bug 916443 made the highlighter global and moved the icon from far left of inspector tool to the right of the toolbox. This has made my muscle memory fail very badly. Every time I try to pick a node, my eyes and mind stare and search for the button on the left side of the toolbox. many other users are also facing the same problem (citation needed) I propose to move the icon to the far left of the toolbox, left to options panel icon. These will help in two ways : - The location of the icon will be consistent with all other devtools. (Yes Chrome moved the button from bottom left to top left too) - Firefox user's muscle memory will remain in tact.
