In B2G daily smoke test of Tarako(v1.3), the defect can be reproduced by following steps.

1. Take a photo and select it.
2. Choose share icon and select Message.
3. After the app resizing the photo, you could see the automatic but wrong rotation of the photo.

It is confirmed that not happens on Buri.

Hi Lawrence, I might need the Tarako device from you or other QA for debugging. But before investigation, could you please verify if the photo you take only in landscape/portrait or both?

The function works noramlly in landscape but not in portrait.

It seems the landscape image taken by camera didn't saved as we expect before(it might just apply EXIF orientation for photo taken with landscape mode, and we didn't consider the the image EXIF for resized image). Anyway it is not reproducible on latest tarako build, so need QA support first.

Hello Steve - QAnalysts do not currently have tarako's, but would repro checking be ok using another device such as a Buri?

Use build id 20140312075534 to check. It can not be reproduced if using current camera to take pictures.
