Open Camera app and repeat tapping "shutter" button quickly can reproduce the issue. Usually, it happens at 3rd or 4th times. But, if more quickly you tap, it can be hanged at the first time.
Brian, could you confirm if this is still valid?

I think the camera memory is not enough for hardware rotation. If gallery image editor support rotation, I can disable camera hardware rotation on my side.

(In reply to James Zhang from comment #5) > I think the camera memory is not enough for hardware rotation. > If gallery image editor support rotation, I can disable camera hardware > rotation on my side. Sorry for my mistake. If gallery image editor support exif data, I can disable camera hardware rotation on my side.

Can't we just disable the button until we are done processing?

Tested: - gonk: v184 (flame w/ 319MB) - gecko: aurora:c4a4b04c617c - gaia: v2.1:778ebac47554e1c4b7e9a952d73e850f58123914 Observed: camera successfully takes all pictures, remains responsive. No-Jun, do you have a Tarako? If so, can you test whether or not this still occurs using our most recent 1.3T builds for it?

I cannot reproduce this issue in the latest version of Tarako. It seems that the phone ignores inputs made between the shots. App operates normally.
