Some tests are broken before refactoring:
navigator.mozId.get (don't know how to use)
navigator.mozPay (see Bug 939021)
Open Audio (button with network required not working)
Downloads (Not works if no more space is available, no error displayed)

May take some look into these issue when I have time.

Tom would you like to test FoxBox which can auto-configure a VM for gaia development?
https://github.com/gasolin/foxbox
It allows you use your favorite windows editor and only compile in VM.

Besides since this issue is only affect the UI of uitest, maybe FirefoxNightly > Menu > Tools > Web Developer > App manager is sufficient.
