When a user lands on /speed, a dial measures the speed of their firefox browser. Can we please fire a non-interactive event when the dial has determined whether or not the visitor has a Fast or Slow version of Firefox.

Fast Firefox:
['_trackEvent','/speed Interactions','dial','New Firefox - Yay',0,true]

Slow Firefox:
['_trackEvent','/speed Interactions','dial','Old Firefox - Sadface',0,true]

Jen, are there only 2 messages on this page that a user can get?

Gareth - I think so.

Craig or Steven - did either of you build this page originally?

Yeah, I think I did (so many pages).

The states on this page are:
1. Fast Firefox
2. Slow Firefox
3. Not using Firefox (Google Chrome, Safari, Internet Explorer)
4. Not using Firefox (unknown browser)

Ok. Thanks Steven. I only need to capture the first 2 states with an event, and can get the last 2 using standard Browser reporting. As of right now, it looks like nearly all traffic to this page is from Firefox browsers anyway...

Well that is already interesting....
The /firefox/speed/ page was created originally to push existing Firefox 3.x users to update (Bug 701208). It may not really be relevant anymore - at least not with this content.
Hi Gareth-

Are we ready we move forward with this one? Should I ask someone to code it?

Thx,
Jen

I think this page has been orphaned for some time...
Hey Kohei- There's some interest in making a new speed graphic and/or repurposing this old one. So it would be great to see the events data in Google Analytics to see how the current one is being used.

Everything should be ready to go per comments above. We only need to track the 2 states: Fast and Slow Firefox.

Gareth
Thanks, Gareth!

Kohei - do you have time to pick up this one?
