AFAICT, the options to upload a photo or go to the full site are only available for Android browsers (tested both Firefox for Android and Chrome Mobile, probably iOS too).
I don't have any contacts in my test account so I don't know what the issues might be there. I think we should reach out and ask if these differences are intentional, perhaps Tuenti ran into problems with FxOS.

Note that I don't see where it's possible to edit profile details from the mobile site (even from Chrome). Please provide instructions on how that should work if I'm just missing the obvious.

The bug is that there is no UI in place to allow users to modify their profile. Users can download the app and create a new profile on their device, but they cannot modify any profile settings beyond that.
Basically this app is non-functional in a practical sense.

OK. But there doesn't seem to be a UI in place for any mobile browser that I've tested. Not awesome UX, gratned, but offering that kind of advice to a site is not really in scope for Tech Evangelism. However, the ability to upload photos and click through to the desktop site should absolutely be available to FxOS users, just like Android users.

Agreed. When I wrote this bug, I compared my experience on FxOS to my experience on Android. I assumed(foolishly) that other devices had UI and functionality comparable to the Android version. How should we proceed from here?

I think we should reach out about the differences between FxOS and Android to Tuenti (and then perhaps suggest to them that they add the ability to edit the profile from the mobile site) :)
