My Peak (running Geeksphone nightlies) doesn't seem to recognize my Vodafone GR SIM, which works fine on my Alcatel. I got a log with ril debugging enabled, which has this peculiar snippet:

I/Gecko   (  126): -*- RadioInterface[0]: Starting RIL Worker[0]
I/Gecko   (  126): -*- RadioInterface[0]: Unknown network type: 
I/Gecko   (  126): -*- RadioInterface[0]: Supported Network Types: gsm,wcdma,cdma,evdo

Any idea what the problem might be?

I only see radio off, no radio on.

It seems gecko doesn't receive the radio requeset from gaia. There's no 'setRadioEnabled' message from content.

This started magically working at some point in the past couple of months, while I was flashing images from all branches trying to find the most suitable one for dogfooding. I've since settled on the nightly build and everything in the RIL front seems fine. Resolving this bug, but I'm happy to provide any more info you might want.
