Build ID: 20131205075310
Steps to reproduce:
Offer a suggestion to last person - could not find bug to respond
To keep them in order put the letter of the alphabet in front
no underscores etc Aname, Bname, Cname and they will be in the order you want
it is the easiest way and no deletes - I have over 30 address books and 2000 + addresses and this is the way it now works for me. The underscores definitely deleted the address books.
Actual results:
this works
Expected results:
this works

fccor (reporter), thank you for confirming the problem reported in bug 617622 and for assisting other users to work around that problem.
I understand that you opened this bug for the purpose of providing advice/support to other users facing the problem of bug 617622. However, pls note that bugzilla.mozilla.org is not a support forum, it's a bug tracker. So new bugs should only be opened to report new problems or suggest enhancements (RFEs), to avoid bloating the bug database with support issues. So this "bug" (unless there's a misunderstanding here) is technically invalid (and I don't quite see why it was opened, given that you added a comment with same information Bug 617622 Comment 17 just few minutes after filing this bug).
