Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; rv:26.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/26.0 (Beta/Release)
Build ID: 20131205075310
Steps to reproduce:
1. Use config helper/wizard to add a new email account to thunderbird
2. Set an email address to ....@orange.fr
Actual results:
Currently, the config helper, when adding a new email account for orange.fr (main french ISP) uses imap/pop.orange.fr and smtp.orange.fr without SSL.
Expected results:
Orange.fr now provides SSL support.
Thunderbird should use this values as default configuration :
* pop.orange.fr : 995
* imap.orange.fr : 993
* smtp.orange.fr : 465
Documentation (in french) :

I can confirm this -- in fact the current default behavior of Thunderbird 31.0 which still results in the default account for orange.fr without SSL gives an unsettling warning to the user about missing encryption and doesn't allow sending email from an Orange account when connected to the internet via another ISP, so everybody would be happier if you adopted the SSL setting as default behavior.
