According to the career page, they seem to create their Web site in-house

"C# with ASP.NET" is the technology they are using on the server side.
I wonder which user agent detection framework they are using.

I'm trying twitter first @lynda

Recontacted them, I let slip an email I had not noticed. My bad.
They contacted me in April 30, saying that they would move away of the current setup. It has not happened yet. So I asked if the meantime we could get the mobile redirection like others.

=======================================
Hi,

This issue is still not solved. Let's do a simple recap.

* The bug has been opened on 27 January 2014 (2014-01-27)
* 2014-01-27 contacted through twitter
* 2014-01-29 Opened a ticket with [28E-1A7B01BA-64CA]
* 2014-01-30 "Our developers are looking into this and would like to know if this is a Firefox app or a full Operating System environment and also which hardware devices would be running this potentially (if the list isn't exhausting for you.)"
* 2014-04-28 Replied to lynda.com explaining the Firefox OS platform
* 2014-04-30 Got a reply "Thanks for the information. It looks like we are considering retirement for the mobile site and may work off a standard site or mobile app model in the future. I will let our Mobile Team know what you have found. "
* 2014-08-19 Sent another email: "I just went to the site today. Understood that you might go away from the mobile site. It has been almost 4 months, and iOS/Android are still receiving the mobile Web site. In the meantime, before releasing your new site, would it be possible to adjust the redirection for Firefox OS? That would be cool."
* 2014-08-20 "I will send on the request."

This is not fixed yet.

Current summary of the issues:

* Firefox OS receives desktop site
  http://www.lynda.com/default.aspx
  See https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=964080
  Reminder Firefox OS UA: Mozilla/5.0 (Mobile; rv:36.0) Gecko/36.0 Firefox/36.0

* Firefox Android is being sent WAP Content-Type after redirection to http://m.lynda.com
  See https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=857101
  Reminder Firefox Android UA: Mozilla/5.0 (Android; Mobile; rv:36.0) Gecko/36.0 Firefox/36.0

* Opera Mobile (Blink) receives Desktop
* Chrome Mobile (Blink) receives Mobile site
  http://m.lynda.com/default.aspx?rp=http%3a%2f%2fwww.lynda.com%2fdefault.aspx
* iOS Safari (WebKit) receives Mobile site
* Windows Phone receives Mobile site

Could we fix that site?
What can we (Mozilla) do to help you?

Thanks.
