Details

We need a JS API for letting apps interact with and override the automatic choices about how to distribute bandwidth among multiple audio/video streams, and to make choices about when to do things like turn video on/off or change resolution. W3 bug filed (will provide link) with a proposed API. This becomes much more important once we have multiple streams of the same type. We also need to know where to attach the knobs (perhaps the "doohickey")
