Device: ZTE Open

1. Go to Gallery and select some pictures
2. Send them via BT to some other device
3. Reduce the volume of the sound - till 0% - silent

Expected results:
- you should not hear the sound of transferring images (image sent)

Actual result:
- you hear the sound of transferring images (image sent)

Note:

- I can't update the SW and currently i do not have other device with me to test an updated OS.

One volume looks like it was the ringer that was set, the other seems to be the application volume.

It's not bluetooth bug. Change to category AudioChannel first.

The BT notification sound belongs to "notification sound" type. It is controlled in Settings -> Sound -> Volume (Ringer & Notifications) instead of volume key. The volume key is used for controlling content media sound (eg. Music App plays mp3 files).

This looks like UI behavior problem which confuses user? Can UX help to comment on this behavior?

Refer to the latest sound spec here bug 991026. In p.6, when user uses volume key, it adjusts "Media" volume in Gallery, so it's by design and not a bug.
We are about to improve the volume toast, so user will not be so confused since there is an audio type icon on the volume toast.
