Steps to reproduce:

I opened a large amount of tabs (around 15-25) and then to close tabs I opened tab groups, moved a select few tabs to a new group to keep and closed the old group with a large amount of tabs. I hit the second (x) to permanently close the tab group.

(I have had this happen multiple times.)

More information: I am using OSX Mavericks and I had firefox opened in fullscreen mode. This instance of firefox has been open for about a week as I use the sleep mode for my computer often. 


Actual results:

The tab group I closed disappeared but when I tried to go back to a tab by clicking on the tab group I had left there was an opening animation and it stayed in tab groups.


Expected results:

I should have been able to go back to my tabs.

This is still happening in firefox 27.0.1.
