Document our plan for training and the #TeachtheWeb online course. Update the Webmaker Training roadmap: https://wiki.mozilla.org/Webmaker/Training. What are we doing? When? Who with? Set dates. teachtheweb v2 meta: https://teach.etherpad.mozilla.org/teachtheweb-v2 newer content online, but we won't be using this platform: https://p2pu.org/en/courses/1140/teach-the-web/

Once these drafts are cleaned up and ready for sharing, let's house them here: https://wiki.mozilla.org/Webmaker/Training

Laura, whats the status of this? It seems like we are moving forward with a plan, can we document this at the wiki link above?

Training wiki is up. I used color coding (wikis need color!) Light blue = IRL training, dark blue = online training, green = weblitmap sprints. This should be a living wiki, so is the structure ok for you? Can you review, add/subtract, etc?

training wiki
This is brilliant! Love the structure, the design and the content. Let's make this an EXEMPLARY project wiki.
Some quick feedback:
* For each quarter, shall we set a goal of how many mentors we aim to train? Could also include an estimate of the number of kits generated as part of the training.
* Q1: Should we add extra lang. about refreshing the content, i.e. making more modular, starting the new modules like the smaller engagement ones, and prettifying the makes + prompts? Might also be good to say we'll use the exemplary Remix kit as a basis for the Build module.
* Q3: Can we make more explicit that we'll have super mentors running their own trainings, at least 1 or 2 pilot ones? The documentation from our end is in there, but good if community sees this more clearly as a place to set up.
This wiki page rocks. (>‿◠)✌

Added goals for each quarter, but are they realistic?? We had 5000+ people sign up for the first ttw mooc, but even with our relatively low (82%) attrition rate, that's only 900+ mentors that completed the experience. The mentor goal is highly contingent on promotion and outreach. Same with the teaching kits... Thoughts? (feel free to edit those numbers!)

updated wiki
Yes, those look right based on last year's numbers (ca. 900 completing our first one). Thanks!
