Context: 
A few of us realised at the Appmaker workweek this Jan that the ethnography/co-design/UX people on Foundation side don't share notes or data enough with the UX/UR/design research people on the Corporation side, and vice versa -- and we want to fix this with a small (one-day) summit to cross-feed ideas, share methods and find new ways to collaborate.

Initial goals for summit:
* Ship a glossary of shared language / methods / tools across our teams
* Present projects from each team that provide good proof-of-concept, and use UX/UR/UI/ethnography/participatory design methods that have worked well
* Set up a discussion list, working group or other shared hub for design-and-research related folk to share data, ideas and opportunities

Hi all! Sorry, I've not been responding (was sick all last week). I've shared our ideas with both my team, the UX managers, and Jinghua, and all are on board. Jinghua would like to see this be a 2 day workshop between our teams, and then she'd like to see the rest of the week be open to one big UX work week. I'm loving this idea. That way people can come and go through out the week as necessary, but the week is focused on the UX/UR work through out the company. I'm going to be working with Madhava and a few others for the goals of the UX days and will put them here when I know them. If any of you want to work on that with us, just let me know.

This sounds really great, Cori, and exactly like what we want to see happen at this stage. Would be great to hear more about timeline/location too. Please feel free to CC myself (kat AT mozillafoundation.org) Karen (karen.louise.smith AT gmail.com) and Cassie (cassie AT mozillafoundation.org) and we'll help represent and plan from Foundation side of things!
