966045 - Tabs From Other Devices is not showing any thing in list at about:sync-tabs

Seen on fx-team try builds from 20130129

With unique tabs on on each of two devices, the Tabs From Other Devices page (about:sync-tabs) accessed from History menu should display the list of tabs from the other client.  

However, nothing is listed.

Sync logs show tab info uploading but none show any incoming tab data.  For instance:

Yes, they are both syncing to that URL.

I can repro this with 1/31 1pm build on desktop - that uses https://sync-1-us-east-1.sync.services.mozilla.com/1.5/...

I don't believe this is a dupe, as dekstop has a file menu > 'tabs from other devices' which is currently empty

Hmm - after restarting with a clean profile, I now see my other tabs!  I think there's something with changing the name.

What are you changing the name of?  :-)

Also fyi, if you have tab with page.foo open in both devices, that tab will not show in either list.  Remove page.foo tab from device A, page.foo should appear in the TFoD list for device A (you'll have to refresh/reload about:sync-tabs on device A)

proper resolution here is WFM, as no code was checked in to specifically fix this. But it was probably the newline bug fix that corrected this and a slew of other bugs.
