From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:0.9.3) Gecko/20010801
BuildID: 2001080110

with my initial config, mozilla tried to start quicktime to display tiff images.
(although no helper app was registrated with tif)

add a new helper application associating type "image/tiff" with paintshop.
mozilla still lauches quicktime!
Disabled inside quicktime edit->pref->browser plugin-> mime sttings every
support for "images"
mozilla still launches quicktime
Restart, reboot, verifying settings ...still launches quicktime

I have verified the content type settings in the mail wich is image/tiff and
corresponds to my helper settings.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.send attachment with tif image
2.click on attachment to display
3.

Actual Results: quicktime is allways started ignoring any helper application
settings
although I disabled image support within quicktime

Expected Results: should start up the defined helper application
I believe this is closely related to bug 96425 - "helper apps" preferences have
no effect

Could you confirm this?
