QQSiteWidth.txt

The mobile website for qq.com doesn't properly align to device width. The site can be panned left/right and a significant amount of whitespace is visible on either side of the page.

Repro Steps:
1) Updated Buri to BuildID: 20140127004002
2) Launch Browser.
3) Navigate to 'm.qq.com'.

Actual:
A large amount of whitespace is visible on either side of the page content.

Expected:
The site width is locked to the width of the device. Website also displays properly in landscape orientation.

Environmental Variables:
Device: Buri v1.3 Moz RIL

* from Firefox OS, entering http://m.qq.com/, the user is redirected to http://m.qq.com/wap/index.jsp web site. This is a fixed size Web site. Everything is specified in pixels. The body being set to 240px.

http://m.qq.com/css/wap_240.css
body{ font-size:12px; width:240px; margin:0 auto;}

* from Firefox Android, entering http://m.qq.com/, the user is redirected to http://m.qq.com/android/index.jsp
Which is a page proposing people to download the Android app.
There is one potential issue with a gradient -webkit- only.
	background: -webkit-gradient(linear, left top, left bottom, color-stop(0%,#ffffff), color-stop(50%,#f0f2f4), color-stop(100%,#e0e3e7));

When the user is asking for the Web version, the redirection is
http://pt.3g.qq.com/s?aid=nLogin&sid=AQGuHht3nk_anXFjNYPGp2AE&go_url=http://m.qq.com/wap/anti_theft/android/index.jsp?

which is another fixed size Web site.

For what is worth the same thing is happening for Chrome on Android, Opera on Android, etc.

I'm not sure there is anything we can do here. Same story for everyone else. Design choice have been for the Chinese market with limited feature phones, I guess and the rest have to use a native app Android or iOS. Closing as INVALID, reopen if there is a Web version for smartphone devices.
