majority of caret hidden after inserting app code via menu insert, html

Details
Inserted Java app at top of page using insert from the drop down menu then chose
HTML cut and pasted the code into the window clicked insert. The entire cursor
was no longer visible only about a quarter was still visible under the tool bar
was no way to scroll page up or down to bring cursor back to a normal position,
but when text was entered the cursor returned to expected position and continued
on without issue.
steps to reproduce
1. Open new composer doc
2. Not moving cursor from defult postion click on insert, then click on HTML
3 . Enter app code in window
4. Click Insert
Expected results
app will be inserted and cursor will remain in the same location
actual results
app was inserted cursor partially under tool bar only bottom quarter can be see
blinking.
notes
does not happen to other code i.e. text or image inserted via code. typing text
or inserting any other item will result with cursor returning to expected
position.
